Grilled New York Strip Steak With Ancho Chile Mustard

Serves 4 (as hors doeuvres)

2 cups Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons ancho chile powder
1/4 cup sour cream
Kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper
4 Brandt All Natural New York strip steaks, each 12 ounces

Preheat grill to high heat.

Combine Dijon mustard, ancho chile powder and sour cream and set aside.

Season steaks with salt and pepper and place on grill.

Turn heat down to medium high and grill six minutes on each side for a medium rare steak.

Let steaks rest five minutes then serve with mustard on the side.

Serving suggestion: Marinated heirloom tomato salad.
