Blue Cheese Stuffed Burgers

Serves 4 (as hors doeuvres)

4 ounces artisanal blue cheese, room temperature
1 pound 8 ounces fresh ground Brandt All Natural beef chuck
Kosher salt and fresh ground pepper
Fresh baked burger buns

Preheat gas grill to medium-high heat.

Divide the blue cheese into four equal pieces and roll into balls.

Divide meat into four equal portions and wrap each around one piece of blue cheese.

Flatten each to form patties and season with salt and pepper.

Place burgers on grill and cook four minutes, then flip.

Cook an additional four minutes then remove. Place on buns and serve.
